Fantastic achievement by all Groups as between April & the end of October, 2022, some 4000 training days were arranged for member companies over the 6-month period. Not only that, employer members saved around £100,000 as a result of Groups’ relationships with Training Providers.

And there’s more, as not included in the 4000 days, are days of off-site training, apprentice/specialist applied-skills programmes provision, on-site assessment & people development.

The National Roof Training Group, set up in 2020, brings together the collective knowledge & skills of 8 Group Training Officers, who between them, have over 150 years of combined industry knowledge & experience, all working for the benefit of the roofing sector. Individual Groups have different specialities, some having training centres, some with good funding knowledge, others with a strong focus of supporting & developing local provision, & much more, however, key to this success is two years of collaboration & with the evidence detailed above, we’re proud to say we are well on the way to “Achieving Excellence Together”
